Sustainable Goodies from Conscious Box – a review!


I am a total sucker for eco-friendly snacks and goodies, so when the folks at Conscious Box offered to send me a sample of their November box of goodies to review, I jumped at the chance! The Good It was super fun getting a goodie box in the mail. It reminded me of when mom would send me care packages when I was in college full of my favorite treats.

We’ve gushed about Shelton Davis’ Repurposed Pallet Adirondack Chair around here before. This weekend at the Indie Craft Experience here in Atlanta, I ran across the designer himself at his very first craft market! He had demo chairs set up, DIY kits for sale, and a brand new product to debut. Here’s Davis in his space, and I circled his brand new birdhouse in red! Researchers at MIT have developed a portable, solar-powered desalination system that’s efficient even in overcast weather. This sort of desalination system would be immensely helpful in disaster situations, like January’s earthquake in Haiti .
