We’ve gushed about Shelton Davis’ Repurposed Pallet Adirondack Chair around here before. This weekend at the Indie Craft Experience here in Atlanta, I ran across the designer himself at his very first craft market! He had demo chairs set up, DIY kits for sale, and a brand new product to debut. Here’s Davis in his space, and I circled his brand new birdhouse in red! Originally published in January 2008. Harness your creativity to make something useful and keep something else out of landfill. I like the idea of making unique pieces of furniture for my home, and I like not having to pay (or paying very little) for materials to make something that’s worth more than the sum of its parts.
